I AM A STORY THAT REPEATS ITSELF is a wall installation of autobiographical nature, created from fragments of old CDs once used in an office—objects now obsolete, material witnesses of a recent yet already bygone era. The CDs are cut and reassembled into a luminous, irregular mosaic, giving new life to what was destined for silence and oblivion. The phrase, simple and direct, takes on the tone of both self-affirmation and epitaph: it speaks of the self, yet also of the human condition. Within it lies the awareness that every existence, every gesture, every civilization tends to retrace its own cycles, to repeat mistakes and desires, to mirror itself in time. Installed on the wall, the sentence becomes an act of confession and a collective mirror. It is the story of an “I” that recognizes itself as not unique, but part of a flow that endlessly returns. It is memory and warning, vanity and awareness.

IO SONO UNA STORIA CHE SI RIPETE è una scritta murale di natura autobiografica, realizzata con frammenti di vecchi CD provenienti da un ufficio, oggetti ormai obsoleti, testimonianze materiali di un’epoca recente ma già trascorsa. I cd sono sezionati e ricompomposti in un mosaico luminoso e irregolare, restituendo vita a ciò che era destinato al silenzio e all’oblio. La frase, semplice e diretta, assume il tono di un’autoaffermazione e, al tempo stesso, di un epitaffio: parla di sé, ma anche dell’umano in generale. In essa si riflette la consapevolezza che ogni esistenza, ogni gesto, ogni civiltà tende a ripercorrere i propri cicli, a reiterare errori e desideri, a rispecchiarsi nel tempo. La frase installata a parete diventa un atto di confessione e di specchio collettivo. È il racconto di un “io” che riconosce di non essere unico, ma parte di un flusso che si ripete.
